1.
The quiet encroachment of the ordinary. (yann) we can change. A call to action for every human being. To give rise to the enemy. but when they're loaded, you'll be dead. education as pacification. not in Sandino's eyes. we can look forward to bitter endings. with signs of cliches and rhetoric. advancement to the level of taking pleasure in other people's misery.
2.
Ghost dance 02:36
the ghost dance. (yann) revolt never sounded so good, in these last seven years. but language is a commodity. the fire behind our words and our hearts put out by taking our revolution and selling it back to us. we can't dance or sing to make it go away. most of us take it. dollars can change everything. but some of us keep on running. independent from what?
3.
we need heroes. (yann) cold hands and cuts, how important are friends. have to bleed to remember. what we see dancing in isolation. hit the walls. our suffering is minimal. i can see through the act. don't play victim. you cannot see what we see. hold back and hide. unspoken hurt put behind us. life for beginners, death is experience. we need heroes. we have done nothing.
4.
creator not maker. (yann) no point to move forward. without motivation. behind this too clean image. we can't be. now, it's time to hurry. to be free from chains. it's mandatory. why don't you remember me?i told you i loved you. new ideas lost. we give what we hate. we need, we take. i think in fractured thoughts, is servitude my only hope? i used to know otherwise. to me seclusion is not an option for us and for you. in a second we'll be on our deathbeds. to be free from chains is mandatory. in solitary quarters we think. we can't be.
5.
-it's for life.(aric) i'm feeling myself stopping. to care about the world. hopelessness. every lie i've ever been told. every poisonous word. indignities. backing into a wall. but at least i don't have to watch my back. i'm not gonna let me guard down. i'm not gonna crack. a saving grace. holding my hands up. holding your hands up. so if you wanna go then let's fucking go. if we've lied to ourselves for this long we might as well come to blows. but i'm not gonna stop until it's too late to stop. we've gone this far someone has to drop.
6.
-even with warrior screams.(yann) we're not to be. timed foolishness. forever the end. it's times wasted and days spent in tears. to tear my heart out would be better. and nights till the day that last forever. while i try to be a better man. too hard to walk through. and to be the same in every way. it's too hard to be loved. today is forever because it is the end. to know that tomorrow doesn't get any better.
7.
-frustrations of living(yann) and we hold on to each other, are we too close? through trying times. can't we restructure. i want to come back but i'd trip to many times. if i could take my words back i would. my heart is bleeding in your hands. my rights are my enemy. tomorrow we'll think the same. thoughts dulled from yellow lines. lies of right from 30 years. my rights are my enemy. why can't i watch you? i haven't won today. it's too far without laughter, it's too close to home.
8.
-in advance of a broken arm.(yann) it's not that long till you can do what you want. with no sense and no time, we change. into a broken down dream with an advance of spoken words. can't you do what you want. i'm not prepared to waste my time on you. don't cry from friends left behind. it's time for a second chance, it's not time we die. in advance of a broken arm. -explanation: this song is about change. change for the better. too many of us stop at a certain point and say this is good enough. i am always trying to go one step farther, with my music, my beliefs, my relationships, my actions, etc. change can hurt, we leave people behind, but we must always try to better ourselves and this world we have to live in. i can't stand it when someone resigns themself to a monotonous life, giving up on their goals and their dreams.
9.
Cycle 03:34
-cycle(greg)(used to be called "pure rock") torn, ashamed and broken. i'll never see what you see. i'm outside looking in. so disillusioned, so lost. you made me think it was all my fault. disgrace, you left me out of reach. i'n my cries and in your eyes, i'm falling from you. end the cycle that breaks me down. now i dream with closed eyes
10.
every goddamned butterfly. (yann) make sense of all ways. lead to the end. i've lost it now, i can't begin again. i need to see you on my doorstep. before i believe that this is real. hopeless movements without communication. as the young grow old, reminded of our fate. we can't be alone. confuse trust with blindness. might make you sick. suffocate in here. mirrors of your self-portrait. where's your heart of gold? i don't want to see your pictures painted in lunatic colors. i don't trust you now., time to abandon ship. i don't trust you now, run and ask why.
11.
-nighttime.(aric) deliver myself. empty handed heavy hearted. nothing to offer. nothing can be retained. evidence of loss ingrained in my flesh. my fault my guilt my happiness. holding back for fear of loss. but it's better to love than lose than never love. expose myself to the good in life release the bad. you can never engulf me. you will never control me. you can never have me. my decision your loss your mistakes.

Chato's land 02:12
-chato's land.(yann) your sick thoughts that do nothing. they crossed the line. replacing friends with vices. lying about what's not there. try to cover up broken memories of what's been forgotten. the greed you can't hide breeds loneliness. in the see-through disguise you can't strip away. isn't what you have now what you need? these bridges were burned over rivers too wide. the eyes betray marked face of lies. crossed the line. you can't even see we get replaced. explanation:the standard, "my friend stabbed me in the back song." old school baby.

-a million others like us.(aric) do you know everything? what is right and what is wrong? your staunch opinions on everything, your opinions that are wrong. how can you sleep at night. so many graves on your head. listen. insignifigance. inabilities. insecurities. the way you never see. me and my friends that are fed up. a million others like us that are fed up. a million others like us...
17.
-three days since.(aric) see the things you've never seen. look between the cracks. feel like you were half blind. realize how easy it is to shield your eyes from the horrors of the world. see the man on the corner. does it amaze you it's been three days since his meal didn't come from a bottle. outrage. is that what you feel for your indifference. or outrage that the society you blame is by you. you and me are guilty too. our revolution is over. but never forget the values you used to claim to belong to but were only on your sleeve. only then will you realize sellout has nothing to do with music. sellout. i hope this feeling never leaves me. i finally believe in me.
18.
-new beginnings.(yann) a dead vote in a sea of rusting faces. your so proud of me, sinking deeper in. don't make a change. it's for us to be known without a reason. to traditions ways. i've been covered in dust for years. for all of you to see a thousand blank stares. sorrow coming from our faces. we can't talk it out. but like it says, we can work it out. we'll die before we try. don't look at me. i'll be so far away. die. be lost from me today. die die die.......... explanation: society encourages us to feel like nothing. our parents, our grandparents, our teachers all tell us to stand the middle ground. don't lean too far left or too far right or you will be noticed and cast out. first amendment? what a joke. most of us don't even know how to begin to speak out. actually using our first amendment rights is regarded as deviant but it's what our country is suppoedly founded on! our society encourages a lack of communication so we've forgotten how to even talk to each other with honesty.

-thank you david cash.(aric) all you saw was frail insignificance. as you were blinded by a myriad of ignorance. head flooded with cold hearted arrogance. but at least you weren't inconvenienced. you'll die with the blood on your hands. you killed her. how can you look in the mirror? doesn't the sight of your own face make you sick. don't think we don't see your guilt. bastard. you killed her. explanation: david cash let his friend rape and kill a seven year old girl. he didn't think she was in any danger and just walked away. according to him is wasn't his problem.
